Most of my blogs are about far away destinations. When somebody mentions that they are "traveling", one typically assumes it is far away. However, even the half hour drive to the grocery store or school is technically traveling.
No matter how long or short the distance is, I love every minute of it. The airplane ding, the rumbling during takeoff (when I was little, I used to think that planes would speed up a really tall rocky hill in order to take off), the new timezone announcement, the little music sound before airport announcements... they're all exciting, but car rides, music, time to just think about life, all while being wrapped in a fuzzy blanket... I could go on forever, but these are the day to day things that I enjoy.
