Traveling can get expensive: food, hotels, transportation, and simply doing fun things. It's a huge advantage to know people from wherever you are traveling. You are able to be more submerged in the country and culture, have a much cheaper place to eat and stay, and it's almost like having a personal tour guide!
I've met many people from across the world. I met Natalia at a summer camp, Laia from school (both from Spain). I met Anne from the Netherlands, Alex from Germany, Alessandra from Peru, Gabby, Ana, and Joyce from Brazil, Juan from Colombia... the list goes on.
Even though I am not yet old enough to travel on my own, I've been invited to so many places and I can't wait to learn more things and meet more people! One place leads on to another, good times!
