My favorite photography conditions are when it's foggy, golden hour, fall, and/or rainy. This photo was obviously during rainy weather; I almost stepped on the quarter-sized leaf before seeing it there with its hundreds of little droplets.
I love the detail in this shot--it's one of those lucky opportunities that nature gives photographers sometimes.
These opportunities and conditions are ideal, but I always enjoy trying new things and the challenge of being out of my comfort zone!
