That would be a firework, not the sun--but this was taken during the day! I love how unique this firework photo is. It's not anything like the millions of typical firework shots that everybody takes and then never looks at again.
Fireworks during the day are still beautiful, both literally and metaphorically. Just because something isn't what you're used to doesn't mean that it is any less worthy or beautiful. Conformity isn't worth the struggle when you can be just as beautiful doing your own thing... BE A FirEWORK IN THE DaYLIGHT!
Side note--I had never realized that the third figure was actually a little girl. I thought it was a folded chair, like the fourth figure! Also, I'll never forget all the weird looks and laughs I was getting for taking pictures... apparently it was funny. Good times.
