Kentucky ! pt. 1

Before leaving, I remember coloring farm animals.  They were on an erasable coloring mat, so that I could color it however I wanted, an...

little details . little eggs .

I love photography for a lot of reasons, one of them being the way it has opened my eyes to the world around me.  By looking for things to take pictures of, I see things I otherwise wouldn't, I notice tiny details, and I really appreciate everything.
I climbed a tree and sat in an uncomfortable position for a really long time to get this shot.  I picked some extra flowers to place in the bottom left corner to add more color, and it took forever to find a good angle that focused on the robin eggs.
What's interesting about this nest is that my brother and I collected all of those twigs and plastic and balled them up in that spot on the tree; the bird must have been lazy and decided to use the material we provided, despite any "human scent".  Good times.  Nature is full of surprises!
